Thomas Andrew McIntire was the grandson of Jordan Pond House proprietor T.A. McIntire. His occupation was a house painter.

Thomas was the second owner of lobster yacht, Carry All II, built by James "Jimmy" Harold Rich (1932-2010) for Richard Cushing Paine, Sr. (1893-1966) in 1958. Thomas named her "Billie XXXXX" after his first wife, Wilmer "Billie" A. (Merchant) McIntire (1934-). After his marriage to "Billie" ended Thomas named the vessel “My Shepherd” after his dog.
