John C. Ralph (1868-1949) was born on October 11, 1868 to George and Almira (Clarke) Ralph in Maitland, Nova Scotia. John married Etherlinda Bartlett Dix (born 1867), daughter of John (1829-1910) and Emily Mayo (Bartlett) Dix (1838-1898) on November 25, 1891 in Ellsworth, Maine. The marriage was performed by Rev. J.T. Crosby. John C. Ralph died on January 25, 1949 in Vinalhaven, Maine.
