Cary Burton Lunt was born on May 30, 1947 to Clarence L. Lunt and Elsie R.V. (Reed) Lunt at Frenchboro, Maine. Cary first married Marie Gray, daughter of Douglass S. Gray and Frances L. (Rodick) Gray, on April 17, 1977 in Southwest Harbor, Maine. He then married Marjorie Katherine Rumill (1943-), daughter of George Calvin Rumill Sr. and Euphemia (Dawes) Rumill, on February 20, 1993 in Tremont, Maine.
