Arthur L. Somes was born to Lewis T. and Emma K. Newman Somes in 1869 in Mount Desert, Maine. Arthur married Lucy C. Robinson, daughter of Adoniram Judson and Henrietta Clark Robinson. Lucy was born in 1863 in Tremont, Maine and died in 1936 in Southwest Harbor. Arthur L. Somes died in 1941 in Southwest Harbor.
