Goudy’s Point is the name of an area on Grand Lake Stream in Washington County, Maine. Grand Lake Stream connects West Grand Lake and Big Lake in the St. Croix River watershed.
“Think of it. Three and a half miles of gravel-bottom runs punctuated by a 10-foot fall, a number of clattering rapids, occasional pools, and the rocky point where Curt Goudy of American Sportsman fame would fish [for landlocked salmon] all day.” – “Trout Unlimited's Guide to America's 100 Best Trout Streams” by John Ross, p. 9, 2005.
