Weaver - Miles Waverly Weaver (1923-2014)

During the 1980’s Miles Weaver spent many hours organizing and studying the photographs in the collection of the Southwest Harbor Public Library. He devised the first plan for cataloging them, but the project was already too large for the available tools and manpower. It would be twenty years before computer databases and scanners made the job possible. He organized shows of the photographs and made copies of many of them, gathering them into collection groups.
