Smallidge - Robert Lindsay Smallidge Jr. (1936-2010)

Robert, a descendent of the Lurvey, Carroll, Lawler, Savage and Smallidge families, was an early supporter of the Southwest Harbor Public Library Digital Archive at its very beginning. An ardent genealogist, historian and photographer, he was meticulous in every task he performed. His enthusiasm for the project and his additions to the collection helped to form the shape of the collection as it is today. He died just as the project was shown to the public for the first time. Library archivists remember him with love and gratitude for always giving that little bit "extra."
