Margaret Arnold Rand, the sister of photographer, Henry L. Rand, was called “Jennie” (as a very young child), “Daisy” or “Love” by her family. She was educated at Miss Ingols private school, studied art with Miss E.D. Norcross, at Boston, New York, Philadelphia etc. and exhibited paintings at Boston, New York and Philadelphia. She was a member of the Copley Society and the Horticultural Society in Boston. She was active in the affairs of the Episcopal Church. Margaret died on March 17, 1930 at her mother’s home, 49 Kirkland Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
