Thomas C. Moon Jr. apparently started out as a mariner, but by 1900 had established himself as a photographer in Tilton, New Hampshire near Lake Winnipesaukee. He continued his photography business in the Tilton / Laconia area as “Moons’ Photographic Gallery” in Laconia. Moon maintained a summer studio near his family in Hancock County, Maine at Lamoine Point.
