Description:
Lida Ellen Clark was born in Southwest Harbor to Edwin and Phebe Holden Clark on February 17, 1864. Her paternal grandparents were Deacon Henry and Caroline Richardson Clark. She married Osborne W. Cousins (1851-1939) on May 1, 1886. They, or she, lived in the Henry Clark house, built on the harbor side of the road in 1871 - 138 Clark Point Road in 2007. She died in 1951 in Southwest Harbor, Maine.

Lida was the librarian for the Southwest Harbor Public Library from 1917-1938.
