The Alden-designed Hinckley 21 was 28’6” overall and 21’ on the waterline. “There is some confusion during this period [1946] because the number following the model name sometimes refers to waterline length and not length overall.” — The Hinckley Story (p. 39).
Twenty-three 21’s were built over a three-year period.
