Lewis Freeman Gott (1857-1926) was born to Samuel M. and Hannah H. Richardson Gott in 1857. Lewis married Vesta Spear Murphy (1861-1943), daughter of Benjamin and Jane A. Mitchell Murphy. Lewis Freeman Gott died in 1926.
Lewis Freeman Gott (1857-1926) was a great-grandson of Daniel Gott Jr. (1739-1814) and Hannah Norwood (1744-1836). He was also the uncle of photographer George A. Neal's wife, Bertha Murphy.
