Dwinell - Frank Thomas Dwinell (1834-1910)

Frank T. Dwinell, born to Joseph Hammond and Almira (Holbrook) Dwinell in Vermont, owned extensive property. Dwinell Street in West Roxbury, which became a public way on March 26, 1935, was named for Frank T. Dwinell. He is listed in an 1874 city atlas as the owner of a large tract of vacant land adjacent to the area where the street later was placed. He was active in the Freemasons and may have sung tenor in his church choir.

The Dwinells lived at 10 Park Street, Brookline, Massachusetts during the latter part of their lives. Alice was living there in 1910, according to the Brookline Annual Report. Frank Thomas Dwinell died on January 13, 1910.
