Harper - Osmond Emery Harper (1887-1972) aka Ozzie

Osmond Emery Harper was born on March 31, 1887 to Lyman M. Harper and Ermina (Higgins) Harper at Tremont, Maine. Osmond married Isabelle Franklin Dolliver (1889-1959) on November 11, 1914 in Southwest Harbor, Maine. Osmond Emery Harper died on July 26, 1972 at Southwest Harbor.

"Ozzie used to haul fish from Stanley Fisheries [in Manset] to Portland and Boston. The fish would come into the wharf cleaned and there it would be weighed and packed in boxes on ice with ice on top and loaded into a truck. The load would be in Portland the same day.
