Marjorie Alice Hatfield (1904-1991) was born on September 16, 1904 in Hingham, Massachusetts to Andrew W. Craig and Katherine A. (Balcome) Hatfield. Marjorie married Asa Burton Craig (1907-1981), son of Asa Craig and Alice M. (Byers) Craig, on November 2, 1931 in Bangor, Maine. Asa, became a foreman in the shipping room at St. Regis Paper Mill in Bucksport. Marjorie and her family ran the Sunshine Center Laundromat in Bucksport, Maine for fifteen years. She was active in the Buck Memorial Library and enjoyed reviewing books for it. Marjorie Alice (Hatfield) Craig McCann died on September 25, 1991 in Bangor, Maine and was buried in the Pittsfield Village Cemetery. She left a daughter, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
